I'm wondering if clones have already been attempted in this universe. Clearly, Superman has been around for a while.
Yes, sorta. In Supergirl, we had both a bizarro Version of SG (maybe can be compared with Vatman but more dumb, with "morrored" powers, like heat breath and freeze Vision etc.). And there was the "Red Daughter", a phenomenon where Kara is "split" in two different individuals, one remaining there and one somehow getting to Russia. Both died, in case of RD merged with Kara (though that has seemingly no consequences).
However, given that Superman and Lois doesn't seem to care about SG continuity and characterizations, it's hard to know.
