This story was very good. It certainly felt true to the character, making a sad but honest backstory that brought Jack to the point in his life where we meet him in season one. Excellent work!
Thanks, Groobie! Glad it rang true for you. I felt like Jack had to wind up in his situation due to a traumatic past. He'd not as hardened as he passes himself off to be (or he never would have befriended Clark as swiftly as he did OR keep Clark's secret, which I'm convinced he knew by Fly Hard.)
