What a great sequel to “Throne of Lies”! The changes you describe are very logical and believable. I loved the tiny touches of practicality, and the fact that you didn’t delve too much into some issues (Lois’s age, the end of Intergang and the lack of appearance of other mafias).
Showing the Press Conference from Jon’s POV and focusing on the Kent family was a marvellous idea: it enabled the reader to imagine it and the reporters’ reactions. Loved the HG Wells cameo at the end.
Could we hope for a sequel? Keeping my fingers crossed.
