Well, this is certainly heart-wrenching. I can't imagine how Lois would cope with not knowing, not being certain, and believing that Clark would never again smile at her, never again laugh with their children, never again cup her face or wrap his super-arms around her -- Ouch!
This reads a bit like "The Count Of Monte Cristo" with the added complication that the prisoner is being held without his memory. And it's done so well! I'm looking forward to the next installment with loads of anticipation. Keep up the great work!
