Thank you for the praise. Writing Sam and Ellen is always a little frightening for me, trying to make sure I get their voices right. So I'm glad to know it worked for you.
Poor Lois and definitely poor Clark for the double assault though. I don't envy them this dinner!
I loved being able to have Lois stand up for Clark, especially on the heels of him being suspended for standing up to Ralph on Lois' behalf. It felt sort of full circle.
You can wait a bit for the proposal though, right?
