One I have liked for some time is Wandering Ones by Clint Hollingsworth. It has been going on for around 10 years which is a lifetime in web comics. A post apocalyptic story of a group of Native Americans who go back to the old ways and sometimes work with and sometimes against the surviving governments. The story begins when one of the governments send a small group of their soldiers to train with the a group of the natives called the Scouts. The scouts are extremely talented in the art of tracking, camouflage, and operating without modern technology. We opposing governments find ways of neutralizing existing high tech weapons these skills come in handy. There is a bit of native mysticism thrown in. Clint says he is winding it down since he believes he has to focus on providing for his expanding family and thinks he has pretty much told the tale anyway. All 10 years are online at
