Lois, Kal, and I will continue to tread water waiting for you to post the next part. Please remember that Kal has been stabbed and will probably start to attract sharks before too much longer, if he doesn't bleed out first. 
Lois and I are doing as much as we can to keep him afloat but she keeps slapping my hands away from his bare chest. Awww. Hope you've all managed to keep up the treading water. I can perfectly understand why Lois is batting your hand away ... You need to keep away from Clark, he's mine ... uh, Lois's.
Anyway. Don't worry about Clark too much with his injury, he's invulnerable. Oh, uh no, he not in this story. Oops. But, actually, the sword only scraped along his ribs. There's a cut, but not a 'stab'.
