Actually, I live in a studio apartment. So it's literally the first door on your right - no going down the hallway at all. Of course, if you're already *in* my apartment and want to know where it is, you have to head back towards the front door, go down that hallway, and it's the...only...door on your left.
Though, I don't think this makes much difference to you, as it offers no information on the layout of actual houses.
