If the number of days in History is higher, and you access lots of different pages every day, the size of this file would be bigger, wouldn't it? I wouldn't want to occupy too much space in the computers
I don't know how many different sites you visit daily, Malu, but if it's of any help I can tell you that my "History" folder is less than 5 megs and I have set IE to keep track of 20 days.
As you can see, not a big file.
