I remember Perry saying this, I just didn't recall the context. Interesting.

When Lois uses the "duck" analogy in Strange Visitor, she's not saying SM is human, but that he's clearly *not* from Earth. It's during her conversation with Trask and in response to her inquiry of whether SM was from outer space.
