Okay, extrapolated from past years:
Categories with lots of stories get longer nominee-list than those with less stories. Usually, the list is at least 5 entries long but it won't exceed 10.
I don't think 4 nominations get filtered on the nomination but I read once that a story won't show up on the official nominee-list more than 3 times. If a story gets most nominations in four categories, K-com excludes one category.
Dunno, how many different nominations a story needs to be included in the nomination list.
Also, if you haven't read a story, please, still nominate from those you have read. Yes, it's possibly unfair to newer authors, but even fewer FoLCs have read all stories posted. So, if you don't nominate there's no nominations
