It was more the recs for Shayne's The Tide that confused me, Virginia, rather than your stories. It's not on the eligibles list and from the comments it seems it may not even be a complete story, so it would definitely not be eligible in that case! laugh

The one thing we wouldn't want is lots of noms having to be discarded because stories that aren't eligible have been recommended in a quiz thread, leading to confusion when nominating as to what's eligible and what isn't. That would be a disaster.

So probably best to double check the official eligibles list before sending in noms. :-)
