I did a poll on this very topic over in the Polls thread:
here it is I did this poll because I'm in the midst of a major WIP that should be ready to start posting mid-February and I hated the thought that no one would read it simply because they were just bogged down with Kerth catch-up reading. But from the posts and the results of the poll, I'm going to move forward. I figure those who can will, those who can't at this time but want to, will later, and those who won't, won't regardless of when I post.
But Cris, I do sympathize with your plight. My "to read" file is so full it's to the point of overwhelming. I'm now sitting tight, waiting for the Kerth noms to come out so I can focus in on the ones I haven't yet read but need to consider before voting.
