What or who is a Timmy?

And, though I roughly know what a FOLC cameo is, can someone clear that for me again?

Thanks,

PS: just asking, to get my FOLC lexicon updated laugh

Hi Ankit smile

For an excellent example of a fic containing lots of FoLC cameos, see Jill's Metropolis\'s Angry FoLCs . goofy Jill herself appeared as a cameo in my recent stories Betrayed and Finding Freedom.

I believe that Timmy is Paul's muse, but I know that he can explain Timmy's nature much better himself. wink

Hope this helps,

Who is Timmy, well... there are several possibilities:

1. The little boy who was constantly rescued from wells and mineshafts and things by his ever-faithful dog, Lassie.

2. (The one I'm using in my response) The lab assistant to "Mr. Lizard" (a parody of Mr. Wizard) on the TV show "Dinosaurs." Timmy was frequently blown up and replaced in the line of duty.

3. The curious little scamp who chose to take up residence in the attic of my mind and write stories for me. (You can search in Fic Related or the Polls section of this board for a longer explanation.)

4. Another character by the same name from somewhere else.

Mary didn't specify, so... take your pick. smile

It could also be a ref to a character from the dreaded 'cartoon' South Park.

To quote a rabid fan of the show (who sits in the next cube over from me.

Timmy is a big headed, wheelchair bound, retard, who is only capable of saying his own name.
I didn't know Timmy was the name of your muse and I had forgotten about Lassie. It is refreshing to see someone remembering the classics...

As per the South Park Timmy, he was known to have good rhythym as per his membership in the heavy metal band "Lords of the Underworld", and he has been know to say "Gobbles" in reference to his pet turkey who was also mentally challenged, but escaped the ax on Thanksgiving due to his droopy head.

...just in case you wanted to know.
