Yay, a sequel!

This was very cute and I could really see Lois going through all that <g> Great banter, and a great kiss.

The line about sounding like an expert sex scene in a movie seemed a little... jarring. If it were me, I'd rephrase it more romantically. Of course, it's not me <g>

But I love the last line:

Nice way to tie into the episode title!

“I thought I was supposed to guess.”

“You were taking too long.”

“You didn’t give me a chance.”

“I gave you more than one.”

“Can I kiss you?”

“Yes, you can.”

Oh yeah.

I think I agree with Pam about that Hollywood movie line, but other than that this is perfect! So, when do we get more???

“But...” Clark prodded. He held his breath, praying she’d turn around, run to him, and cover him in soft kisses. He was glad he could hold his breath for a long time, as Lois didn’t respond for several minutes.

“But, being smart is so overrated.” She turned and with such determination and purpose, she was in his arms, looping hers about his shoulders, and kissing his lips in a kiss that rivaled the one before.

Cute.

Very nice sequel, Jo! I enjoyed reading this very much. I like how Lois is able to overcome her fears and admit she hasn't stopped feeling what she was feeling before.
