This is really a nice one, smileyd! I always wondered what might be the content of the letters Clark receives. Particularly your children were sooo sweet laugh .

Thanks for the original insight in Superman's life! thumbsup

I knew Superman answered his own mail. *giggles* (and...erm... yay for Batman showing up. *giggles more*)

Thanks for posting this, it was a wonderful little vignette to read with my coffee this morning.

This is wonderful! The letter to Star had me laughing out loud. I'd love to see more of these if you feel so inclined.

Very sweet, I like it a lot! Especially Amy, Mr. Superman, how cute. It reminds me of Mr. Muggles!

Of course Clark had an opening on Saturday March 15th, because on Friday March 14th he is going to be busy! He’s got my birthday party to come to, lol!!!

This was very entertaining! The one from Star was amazing!

Any chance of us getting any more of these in the future?

I had to read the Star letter twice. Very funny!

To answer your questions, I don’t have much time to watch tv these days, but when I was much younger I enjoyed watching the Flintstones. My favourite colour is Red, which is probably why my Mother made my cape that colour.
Hmmmm...too much info?

I like how you included different types of letters. Goood giggle stuff.

It seemed to me to be something a seven year old would call an adult, since all the grown-ups in their lives are Mr. This and Mrs. That.

Thanks to everyone else who replied!

It's true, that's why I like kids so much, they are so cute!

Took me long enough to leave feedback on this, but I agree with everybody. It is an adorable story. I love the different types of letters, and how you manage to capture the personalities and writing styles of many different people. I really enjoy the way you make Superman answer his letters. You make him sound as a person who is honest and forthright and who isn't quite used to writing - nobody would guess that he is in fact a journalist, that's for sure!

Thank-you for asking me questions that are so different from ones reporters papers around the world ask me all the time.
Thank-you! That's funny. That is not the absolutely correct way of writing it, I think, but it is perfect for the public image of Superman!

Superman writes "tv" instead of "TV", and "Red" instead of "red"! Funny! But of course, that is how the boy whose letter he replied to used capital and lowercase letters.

I love how Superman answers questions, but volunteers no more information than necessary. Though I wonder what the boy made of the fact that Superman used to watch the Flinstones when he was very young. I wonder if the boy is imagining Superman as a little boy watching TV dressed up in a kid-size Superman suit! goofy Because that is how he comes through, Superman through and through. And that's perfect here!

Remember, all of those TV signals continue to broadcast out into space. Can you imagine Superman sitting in a junior-sized suit watching The Flintstones on a space-ship?

I liked how politely Superman answers Elena.

This is exactly how I'd picture Superman responding to his fan mail. I like the variety of questions, and I really like the variations in both his answers and his tone. He was, of course, unfailingly polite, but he was also firm when he needed to be. As for panting over that woman's picture - which I assume showed her at least partly unclothed and posed in some suggestive manner - all Big Blue has to do is think of Lois, and that picture becomes completely uninteresting. Elena who?

Very nice, smileyd. More, please?
