The last part of the song was playing as she put the car in park.

Lois sat for a moment to control the sobs that escaped her while she was immersed in the song. She could not allow Clark to see her this way…not after all she had done to him.

Please don't get me wrong--She seems wonderful, but Clark is just supposed to be with Lois. I don't want him to suffer or be alone, but I have a hard time any time he appears to be going any other way. (even in stories that I love like Butterfly Legacy it's hard.) But, that isn't going to happen here
