Had a hard time catching up on the story, since the TOC wasn't up-to-date.

You do very well at establishing characters. One of my pet peeves with crossovers is that you are assumed to know as much as the author does.

Jason was well-established. Very plausable history with an equally plausable vendetta. Even a thief is allowed one item of value, so this is a nice character. Is Jason yours or borrowed from an episode of Remington Steele I don't remember?

I thought it a stretch that everyday people are invited to such an exclusive party, no matter where they were sitting. Of course, I'm a great believer in writer's fiat, so you as the author can do what you want. But by allowing Groggins and company in, it doesn't seem as high society anymore.

Still I'm enjoying the story and am happy to be caught up. I notice each new installment, even if I was too far behind to read right away.

Still following the story. Not much time for feedback this week -- hubby was on a business trip.

I also like the development of characters. It's been a long time since I saw a Remington Steele episode, but I think you have written Remington and Laura pretty accurately, especially with his normal slight irreverence to any situation.

I enjoyed this installment.

Well, as much as I’d love to sit here and marvel over the mystery that is Clark Kent, I think we’d better get in there and snag a table.
You've got a nice first season Lois going here. thumbsup

Yay, Lois has Laura's name now. It won't be long before she strings the pieces together. Her curiosity over what the great Remington Steele is doing in Metropolis will finally clue them in about Lex's nefarious plans.

If I didn’t know Lex better I’d say he orchestrated this whole scenario when I refused his offer to be my escort
Ah, the good 'ol Lane intuition is hard at work. Come on, Lois. Go with that thought. Lex is a jerk - start investigating!

Keep up the good work,
BJ
