I agree! That's really funny! I laughed out loud! And it's a very clever twist, too! Poor Clark can always find solace in his wife.
Unless she's working on the next Dalek invasion.
I like Doctor Who. I've liked that show ever since I first saw the Jon Pertwee episodes on the Dallas educational station back in the mid 80's. (They'd just bought the broadcast rights.) And I'm enjoying the latest incarnation on SciFi channel, courtesy of the BBC.
But I have to say that, as many weird things the Doctor has been through - including all those funky regenerations - is it possible to come up with original ideas for Who fiction? Are there any avenues which have not been explored? Is there any more typing balm left in Gilead?
Wait, what am I saying? With folks who can write cool stuff like this little vignette, the sky isn't anywhere near the limit!
I don't have much to say about Doctor Who, but Mary, this was priceless!!!

O_o AT first I was so totally afraid that Lois was having an affair with St John... I even let out a cry of mortification!!
But then I'm not sure this is better... Wendy AND Julie BOTH writing Doctor Who fic? Oh woe!
Very cute! =D
Mary, this was a lot of fun! I didn't see the twist coming either.
And we need to get Wendy - and Julie - to stop torturing the poor boy and get back here pronto! I don't want Dr. Who to feel neglected, however - even though I know nothing about him, we don't want him to feel the pain and anguish that poor Clark is experiencing right now, do we. Maybe Wendy and Julie would be willing to split their time 50/50...

Wow, I almost choked on my water at the end. I knew there'd be some twist--that it couldn't be Lois leaving--but what a twist!
Good for you for outing those two vagabonds!!
*Doubles over in laughter* This was just BRILLIANT! I wondered when you said 'he' was English and then when you said Doctor Who I nearly spit out my drink all over my keyboard
SO FUNNY!
(And there's nothing wrong with a little Who fic...nothing at all...)
ROFL!
Oh man. I haven't laughed so hard in... <g>
...You just had to shame us in public, huh? <g>
I have to say, though, "Julie is writing it too" is not a valid defense for Wendy since it's her fault in the first place. <g>
Julie
Bwahahaha! I didn't see that one coming.
Lots of fun!
See ya,
