So here is my new fic, separate from Investigate. Thoughts?

Chapter 1: Panic

I'm hoping to finish chapter 8 this week. Once I do, I will try to post every other day or so.

Cool! I love Never On Sunday - the concept of Clark's fear, and the things he silently struggles with. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this!

Yay!!! I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds, especially given this wording in your summary: and it looks as if the next target is Superman and her best friend

EEEE!!! That’s gonna be SOOO interesting!!

Great start!! smile1

SuperBek - Thanks ^_^. This has been stewing in my head for a bit, so I hope I deliver.

Ailujecarg - It's definitely an episode I wish they had touched on again later in the show, but oh well. That's why we have fanfic smile

KSaraSara - Lois will have her hands full. devil Now it's her turn to save Clark and Superman from the jaws of death laugh

Next part will be up shortly.

Hi Blueowl!

Quote
A/N 2: This takes place in early season 2, soon after ‘Madame Ex’
Does this mean Lois brought Baron Sunday home with her from her Caribbean excursion?

Quote
But she was committed now. She had already wasted fifteen minutes, leaving now with nothing would only enrage her further.
Maybe also why she can’t give up on Superman?

Quote
Lois had never seen anything like it. The man was well-dressed, clearly worked out regularly, and he was freaking out in the middle of a crowded coffee shop.
Sounds like he met the Scarecrow.

Quote
”Sir?! I’m a paramedic, tell me what’s happening so I can help!” a man beside Lois shouted.
Fire ants dug under his skin?

Quote
Who knows, maybe there’s sudden snake flush syndrome or something,” she said.
laugh

Quote
Now the whole world knows and is fine with also knowing he’s an alien. A magical mark has nothing on that.”

“Fair point,” Clark said with a smile before they got to work.
Solid reasoning!

On to part 2!

I love "Never on Sunday" as well. I like how this developed from the early stages I've seen. Now Lois and Clark are back at investigating. Good thing they are working on this together.

bakasi - I do wish they had done another episode with Baron Sunday on the show. A lot of potential there, I think. Anyway, thanks for being my beta on this! I'm not sure how much longer it would have taken me if not for you and Toomi smile
