In this story, Lois and Superman have been dating for a year. Clark isn't her partner by common agreement after she began dating Superman. She didn't know Superman had another identity.
I always mispell Luthor. I don't know why I can't get it together on that!
His relationship with Lois, as you may have surmised, isn't very good. It's explained more later. She's still the immature Lois Lane of the early first season.
