Comments, brickbats, tomatoes, etc. go here.

So you tell me... how exactly did they expect the hotel staff not to notice that Lois had checked out as Miss Lane and checked straight back in again as Mrs Kent? goofy

Mere, you are one wicked, wicked woman. ROTFLMAO!

Superb! Loved Lois spitting and clawing while Perry was on the phone. LOL.

And as for that blind staff....well if they didn't notice that the entire layout of the room had changed in a weekend... goofy

Hey, that's two new additions to my Kerth list for next year I've read this morning...I'm doing good!

ROTFL, Mere! I loved the whole part about how Lois got herself blacklisted. That's just like her to be rude, destroy equipment, and not give tips to the hotel staff.

I guess she'll save her explosion for losing the story to Jimmy and Cat for later, since she's a tad busy. wink

P.S. Just a very minor detail: wouldn't Perry have called Cat, Catherine, for the purposes of making reservations?

Clark picked her up bodily to stop her clawing free of his grip, but it didn't diminish the volume. He considered for a moment, shrugged, and applied his lips to hers. Lois's words became muffled, changed to a shocked gasp, then rapidly gave way to murmurs and moans of pleasure.
Way to go, Clark!! laugh

Well, I was going to chant "fluff! fluff! fluff!" but, um, well, my mind took a turn for the worse. I mean, Cat talking about Jimmy's "equipment"?? *cough* Right, dragging myself out of the deep end of the gutter now.

Seriously, funny story. I love it! laugh

Wonderful, Mere! Very cute and funny. I loved that those two were so caught up in their heated moment they didn't even care about the crowd around them. I'm trying to ignore my "ick" response at the thought of Cat and Jimmy <g>.

Thanks for sharing!

This was great! LOL, Cat and Jimmy... And what would Lois say when she and Clark part and find out that they just lost the story? (partially, anyway...) laugh

Just a note: In every hotel there's always someone who refuses to tip, and acts obnoxious... It's hard to believe they'd get blacklisted... But then, Lois managed to do just everything else we ever doubted, so I guess I can see that happening. smile

Great plot un-twist, Mere! And yes, I can see S1 Lois getting blacklisted at every hotel, restaurant, and taxicab in Metropolis. laugh

Thanks for a fun one!

Very funny, Mere! I hadn't thought about them not recognizing Lois, but it's definitely one of those "Duh!" moments, LOL. And even funnier is Lab's astute observation that the staff must be pretty clueless not to realize the floorplan changed overnight. wink

I loved how L&C were too caught up in each other to care about losing the story, but I was howling at Cat sizing up Jimmy's "equipment" and him being too excited about the story to realize he's going to be honeymooning with Cat. wink

Thanks for the fic treat. smile

Maybe an epilogue, just to show us that Jimmy survived it?

Clever and fun.
