Note about membership. Any supporter can buy a club membership for a year. The membership gives you free entry to games. The cost of the membership is usually about two thirds of what the total walk-up price would be for those games.

Membership also gives you the right to vote in board elections.

Membership 'closes' in June. Memberships can still be bought and used for the remaining games, but you aren't eligible to vote and you're not included in the offical tally of members.

I have a suggestion. This doesn't sound American to me: "Luthor Foundation for Sick Children", it sounds British or Australian. We'd do something more like "Luthor Children's Crusade" or "Luthor Children's Foundation." We never (or seldom) use the the term "sick" in a title or the disease itself. For instance, Easter Seals started fighting polio and then general paralysis diseases and now it's any disability. Ronald McDonald House helps the families of children with cancer by giving them a place to stay during the child's treatment.

Wow! Love their relationship and how it's developing and their support of each other. Your descriptions are so clear -- I could just see the two of them sizing each other up in their spandex, trying not to... um... lose control.

Ooh, Mayson is so evil in this story.

Mayson is pure evil and maybe a little deranged - hope something unfortunate will happen to her and that she won't use the green rock.

Loved Lois and Clark's interaction!

Mayson is a little too evil in this story, I think. I hate that she wanted to have Clark for herself in the show, but how can we blame her? In other respects she was a rather likable character, in the same way that Dan Scardino was rather likable, except that he was flirting with the wrong woman.

But I accept Mayson's evil and unreasonable personality in this fic. I'm still waiting for her to contact Seb and have him put her piece of kryptonite in a ring for her. It will be up to Lois to save Clark when Mayson attacks him with her kryptonite, or so I think anyway.

And then there's Hawthorn. How will Lois save them? Maybe Clark can help, now that he is a member of the club.

And I'm looking forward to the interview!

I haven't been commenting lately, Corrina, but I'm still reading. I like the way you're contrasting the soft, gentle progress of their relationship with the stress of Hawthorne's impending demise and the slightly wacko Mayson Drake out to get Superman. It's a good balance.

And I'm glad Lois now has parental figures to lean on in Jonathan and Martha. She's a mature adult, of course, and she's not going to go all Paris Hilton on Martha (Paris broke down and cried for Mommy when she was sentenced to jail for a few days), but young adults need older adults to model maturity for them. It helps both parties.

Love the mutual attraction between Superman and Ultra Woman. I also like it that both of them were distracted from each others' faces. Passion should be mutual.

I have reconsidered. Mayson isn't just a little whack, she's obsessive-compulsive. Even Luthor never hid Kryptonite under three pairs of shoes neatly lined up.

Hey, maybe Dan will "accidentally" find it and take it, not knowing what it is. Wouldn't that just fix her little red wagon!

This is a compelling story, Corinna. Keep it coming!

Ann Mayson is evil - however, I needed a villain. I could have used an original character, but the canon foundation for Mayson was good - she didn't like Lois, she was attracted to Clark, she wasn't a fan of Superman, she was ambitious and successful in her job. Granted, I've taken her a lot further, but who needs wimpy villains?
