How does this part read?
Thanks
Artemis
I like it and I look forward to when L&C meet. I love Lois' response to the part about the cameras. I could just see her brain going oh no
They meet in part 8 with their real identities. Coming up next!
Thanks for your comment.

love this strory! can't wait for the show-down..
Great to see you back, Artemis smile

Why did Lou try to take out Toni? He couldn't have had the orders from her father because a) her father didn't want this and b), things happened after he went to jail. And he wouldn't take the order's from Johnny either, because that would have been too late in the game. So, what's going on?

A satisfied full grin lit Henderson’s features. “Hours and hours of videotape. Hours,” he emphasized.
Cool, Henderson has blackmail material. Probably worse than baby pictures :p

Lois smirked. “Well, first, I had to sleep with a rat.”
goofy rotflol Lois, don't kill your editor laugh

Looking forward to #8 jump

Michael
Thanks, Michael. Lou felt he had to get rid of Toni because she was a threat to the old way of doing business. And you don't just fire somebody from the mob. Maybe Johnny did order him to do it. Johnny is still in town.
Hope that helps.

Clark just nudging the bullet--that is the action of a man who knows how to hide his abilities. Something tells me he's done things like that before. Which brings up an interesting question: if Clark is so good at helping without getting caught, maybe he won't need to invent Superman?

And I love the teasing between Henderson and Lois. And that Henderson knows both Lois and Clark's real identities and is keeping them both in the dark. I hope he gets to be there for that revelation. He should enjoy it.

Did you have the line about being on stage from the beginning, or is it a nod to Terry's Mountain Music story?

Glad to see you back. Bring on part 8 soon!
Clark is foolish for handcuffing his charge in front. First, he'll look like a rookie who doesn't know what he's doing. Second, even though he can keep his prisoner under control, a traditional Fed would have to worry about what the prisoner will do with his hands. A terrorist can take his own life. A less committed bad guy can steal your weapon or keys.

But what if it is something that he can't hide his abilities if he is able to help at all? See the next story coming up!

That's in Thania St. John's original episode script.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to read Terry's story or mine washes out in my mind. After I finish this story, I'm looking forward to reading it.

Yes, true. Maybe overconfidence because he is who he is? Maybe softness toward Toni? It's not comfortable to sit in a car with your hands handcuffed behind your back. Also, they have to go hunt for a police car and it could be a walk. It's not fast to walk with your hands behind your back, especially for Lou. Clark could tow them along, one set of arms in each hand. He's not Superman (yet wink ), so he can't just pick them up and fly them to the police station.
Glad you all are reading!

Artemis,

Still reading, still loving it! Looking forward to identities revealed!

Amber
I can sympathize, Artemis. I have to keep your story and Terry's straight in my own head as it is. I felt the same way when I was writing Foreshadowing and Terry mentioned Ricochet. I didn't dare read it until I was finished. Of course, we're all still waiting for part 10 of Ricochet. Ahem, ahem.
Yes, that's right. I have an image of this Clark and this Lois in this universe I've created and it's different than cannon. So I need to keep that fixed in my mind. And I'm still building their characters.
Off to write!

when can we expect the next part? or did I miss it?
Hi robinson
This Saturday or Sunday. Just got home and wasn't able to work on it during the trip. So you didn't miss it. I'm glad you are looking forward to it. This is the real meeting between Lois and Clark and I want it to be good.
