Quote Mayson started smiling even broader and said in a dreamy tone, “No, no he wasn’t. Not mad at all.” She held out her left hand to display a new addition to her jewelry. A one carat solitaire adorned her ring finger. Lois and Lucy both squealed and Lois threw her arms around Mayson. Clark stepped over and shook Daniel’s hand saying, “Congratulations. I’m happy for you.” This had me laughing! Morgana A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Mayson had already been kidnapped once and Dan didn't want her alone and unprotected any more. Therefore the rush to get married. They can have a more elaborate wedding later. RE: the media leaving Clark alone. At least some of that can be attributed to Mayson's rant when she went to his apartment to be there to comfort him after that difficult rescue. Yeah, Smythe is a piece of work all right. Jack and Danny will be with them only until Jack can afford other living arrangements.
