Do I sense a heatwave coming?
It's in queue for my next dryspell.

ME: Yeah, I'm wondering why Sue hasn't posted the next partial section of her story either.

How did Sue end that part with the Mayson Interruptus, again? [Linked Image]

Dang, Virginia! Thirty-six parts and couting?! eek Wrong place, wrong time, wrong Clark... wrong story to get so woefully behind on!!! Yeesh! I've got a lot to go! Just wanted to let you know that I'm (slowly but surely) trying to catch up on this again. It might take quite a while, but it's happening. And also, I really loved this chapter. laugh The moment of deja vu Lois has here is great, and I loved that her romance novel is essentially (okay, not essentially, but almost *exactly) the way her "past life" went. clap Great job! When I get the time, I'll come back for chapter (gasp) twenty! shock See? I'm chugging along...

Plenty of time to catch up. I've slowed down my posted schedule because my cushion fell down to under 20 parts, and might have to do that again soon, if it falls under 10. clap Great job! When I get the time, I'll come back for chapter (gasp) twenty! dance More memory leaks coming up.

Gaaaaaahhhh Clark needs one of these:

Chronicle of the 20th Century

1300+ pages which he could cover in about...oh, 15 seconds.

I'm going to guess he has no clue who Secretariat is, either...

It's the story of a hero who could move whole worlds and see through stars and hear a whisper on the other side of the planet...
...and who fell in love with a storyteller." - ashmaht (x)

CLARK: No, but there was a terrific and famous race in Metropolis every summer called "Secretary's Day" where all the female assistants ran a marathon with their bosses. The Secretaries who defeated those the bosses got cash bonuses. It was canceled after Perry took over as Mayor of Metropolis as being sexist.

Thanks for reading!
