This is a story about Lois' skill as an investigative reporter and her ability to ferret out 'the story'. She'll probably win a Kerth for the big Star Labs robbery bust. The haircut was just an incidental part of her stake out. Lois is not one to let inconsequential things infere with her chase of a major scoop. Tank (who is amazed that he constantly has to re-educate the gentle readers about Lois and her 'best' looks)
