Just because so many gentle readers were disapointed when Lois didn't get a haircut in the last story.

Tank (who will always be available to give other gentle writers tips on how to get a proper Lois haircut into their stories)

Yay! A Tank haircut story!! The last story didn't feel like a Tank story. Taking off a wig just isn't a haircut. laugh

Perry: (To Lois) Honey, this could be greatest story since Superman came to town. By-the-by, where is that husband of yours?

I glanced at the title, saw the word "cut" and immediately thought "Tank."

Cute story.

And the *whole story* is about Lois's haircut! That's excellent even for Tank!

I enjoyed it, too. Tank has an irresistible ability to come up with reasons to get Lois a really short hairstyle. The best thing about these fics is their gentle Laurel and Hardy absurd sense of humour!

Yes, I agree with the others.

This was a definite Tank story with Lois' haircut smile

I think some of the gentle readers are getting the wrong idea about this story.

This is a story about Lois' skill as an investigative reporter and her ability to ferret out 'the story'. She'll probably win a Kerth for the big Star Labs robbery bust.

The haircut was just an incidental part of her stake out. Lois is not one to let inconsequential things infere with her chase of a major scoop.

Tank (who is amazed that he constantly has to re-educate the gentle readers about Lois and her 'best' looks)

LOIS:I don't like you.
MAYSON: Really? Oh god, that is such a relief - I don't like you either.

Tank! Don't be saying that - you know very well, and indeed have proselytized on these very mbs, about the earth-shattering importance of Lois's hair length.

I do think our gentle author meant to say:
"The stake-out was just an incidental part of her day. Lois is not one to let inconsequential things in[ter]fere with her chase of a major improvement in her hair cut."

Thanks for this story, Tank. Made me smile. And as always your Lois is so "Lois".
