Get back here with the next part! Inquiring minds want to hear what they say. It is great the globe is attuned to TEK.

I love the start of this chapter. very cute

Gripping and suspenseful stuff! I never would have guessed Tek's touch would activate the globe!

Great part,
JD

I love the WAFFY! Great part. And the water drill worked! So they can leave the planet in good shape.
More soon.

Awesome chapter! Wow! I hope the globe gives them some much needed information before Kal leaves. I really enjoyed this part as I have the others. I look forward to reading more soon. Laura

Oh, the globe is attached to Tek! That's so cool. It does make me wonder what happened to Kal's globe, though. Did Nor destroy it? Or has it been located in his quarters, now that he's dead? Even if they found it, they probably wouldn't know what it was, but it would be nice if Kal was able to get the messages from his father.

Wonderful chapter. I'm glad the water drills were successful, and how cool that even city-girl Lois could tell them that cow's milk could be used to sustain babies and how to obtain it. I'm glad things are falling into place for New Krypton. Though it's frustrating that Ching was rewarded for his betrayal, I do believe he might be in a position to achieve even more for his people in the long run that Kal would have, simply because of the current political climate and Za's deep knowledge of the law. Let's hope he takes whatever guilt he feels over what he did and channels it into benefiting his world to the best of his ability.

Can't wait to find out what the globe has to say and where that spaceship takes them!

Only time for quick feedback these days, but I'm still reading and enjoying. You're starting to wrap up some of the loose ends. Are the two men Jor-El and Kip-Or? Enquiring minds want to know. smile

Her eyes flew open and rammed into Tek’s startled gaze. He said something Lois didn’t understand and scurried away.

An arc of light illuminated the cave wall.

And in it, an image appeared.

Of two men.

Great part, more now. Please?

Kathy Thanks Kathy. Next part hopefully later today.

JD Thank you for leaving FDK.

Artemis I had to slow down the story just a little to tie up some ends regarding NK. I agree that we needed to leave them in the best shape possible.

Laura I'm glad you enjoyed the part. It's hard to balance getting all the stray bits neatly tidied and still move ahead with the story.

Thanks.

Kathy Kal's globe - my take is that Nor destroyed it. However, with Nor dead, I don't have a way of telling Kal what happened to his globe. Perhaps earlier on, when he told Lois about the globe, Kal should say that his belief is that it has gone forever.

That's pretty much exactly what this part was supposed to achieve.

Ching we'll deal with in the next part.

Thanks, Kathy.

HappyGirl Thanks for still reading despite being busy in RL. Yep, we have a few loose ends to deal with.

Lately it's been more like every 3500.

Actually, I do it more for me than you guys. laugh If a part has a definite ending, it helps me keep them straight in my own head, so I don't get lost somewhere in what has become a much longer story than I ever anticipated.

The bit about Tek's daughter - Lois is still changing mindsets, even at this late time in her stay on NK.

Now - a general point. Tek had already touched the globe. Lois handed it to him when they were in the spaceship cave, just after she'd found it.

Progress - 39 has gone to Iolanthe. Latest estimation is 41 parts, plus the epilogue. I have some RL to deal with, but will try to post 37 today (Saturday).

Thanks

Corrina.

Hi Corrina wave

Sorry I haven't been leaving more regular feedback. I was beginning to think that I was not going to make it back until you finished.

I love where this has gone. I've been wondering who will be the Trask equivalent for the NK Bureau 39. Those nasty humans are about to invade and they need to be ready.

I did notice that Tek had already touched the globe and it was like a light going on. Both Kal and Tek had to touch the globe, they see two men. I sense two fathers delivering a message to two sons. At least, that's my bet.

Looking forward to the next part.

Yes, beta-ing this fic, I would get all engrossed in a chapter and then be left with adrenalin pumping, as Corrina deposited me gracefully at the edge of a cliff.
