Oh man! [Have I left fdk yet? I've been reading...]

Two things could have happened:

a. emergency so major he couldn't avoid going [though I'm having a hard time thinking of what it could be; he'd let most things slide at a time like this]

b. he's doing something that will make sense later - arrangements for him to do the speaking or something of that nature

So which is it? And when do we find out?

ACK!

I am going to hope this is not as bad as you've led us to believe!

This was another great part. Your writing and descriptions are so vivid.

Can't wait for more!

I was enjoying this until Clark left. Can't imagine what could be so bad that he would leave Lois at a time like this. I would think it would have to be really, really bad.

Hi,

Clark has such bad timing, and I'm sure it would have to be a an epic disaster for him to leave right at this moment.

Unless he heard the emergency actually happening, a couple of minutes wouldn't make much difference. If he'd just waited to give Lois a smile of encouragement as she started her eulogy.

I'm not sure Lois will forgive him for running out at this moment, and I really wouldn't blame her.

Even telling her his secret might not be enough in this instance.

So, I hoping you're going to write him a really excellent reason.

Yours Jenni

A) Uhmmm - no comment

B) Tomorrow afternoon (Wed) if RL goes well. If not, Wednesday evening.

Amber Thanks for all your very positive feedback.

Will it be as bad as it seems? Yes, no, maybe...

Jeff I'm glad you were enjoying it ... I hope you will enjoy it again when we get over this ... uhm ... little complication.

A good, strong part smile Clark running away though is totally unexpected. Is there a cat stuck in a tree in front of the church? And did you study at the Carol College for Angst and Drama? But at least, we only have to wait till tomorrow smile1

That was absolutely captivating.
Bringing Lois to his parents was so empathetic of Clark.
The funeral was so emotional I could almost feel Lois' pain when she saw the caskets.
I really hope that Clark didn't leave because of a rescue, Lois would never forgive him except perhaps if it is something really really big.
Amazing part, I'm waiting for the next. clap

GamesAway Hopefully it was good enough - for you anyway. Whether it is good enough for Lois ... uhmm. Thanks.

Michael No, I haven't been studying there ... but I'm taking it as a compliment that you even suggested it. smile1

Kathryn I'm glad you liked the farm interlude. Thanks for posting FDK.
