Beth, I'm happy you enjoyed it (except the ECP part).

I don't want to turn this into a discussion on ECP yes or no. I did read up on the Internet a bit, and from what I found, it's first hook is to prevent ovulation, then to prevent fertilization, so there won't even be a fertilized egg. And only after that it might prevent implantation, but nobody knows for sure. And now I'm going to leave it at that.

In the story: Given how ECP was available since before the nineties, I couldn't really have Lois ignore it.
