ROTL! I fantastic concept hilareously exectuted. smile I loved it. I don't know what was funnier, Clark freaking out when Dan thought he was gay or Dan freaking out at the end. And of course I love that Lois and Clark got their happy ending.

Good work!
Annie

HAR!
That was so funny. I was shocked at first because I thought Dan knew the real secret, and then he started talking about Clark's snappy outfits or whatever...

LOL!!! That was so funny. Clark's reaction to Dan was so great -- and Dan's reaction to Clark's thing was even better smile . And then the happy ending for L&C -- perfect.

LOL, great story. I remember seeing this some time back on the ZMB and liking it then, too. Glad you decided to repost it here for us, Messenger. smile

I loved Dan "coming on" to Clark in the apartment and that Mayson drew such a wrong (though understandable, especially considering her ego would surely have been bruised by Clark standing her up on that weekend trip) conclusion. And Clark countering all of Lois's arguments -- I love it! (Especially the part about her picking out many of his suits -- now that's a story I'd love to see <bg>).

But my favorite part had to be this:

Quote
A large man in a shiny black leather outfit stood outside the door.
“I heard you were looking for a date.”
Dan blinked. “I think you’ve got the wrong guy.”
“Naw. Spike said to say hello.”
rotflol

That's my Clark! You show 'im!

And great happy ending for our favorite couple. smile

Great job! Very enjoyable smile

Poor Dan (NOT!). It's not enough that the guy loses the girl, but something else always seems to happen to him. Just recently, one story had Dan stuck on New Krypton as a concubine who couldn't have any women. This time, he's stalked by Spike's gay friend. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Absolutely hilarious!

I would have liked to see more reaction from Lois on the almost non-existent towel. wink

Har! ROFLMAO! This story was just great! One of the most different I've ever read I think! I absolutely loved it! Especially the end laugh

*Blayne*

Clark: You are really high maintenance, you know it?
Lois: But I'm worth it.

Clark: Not exactly what you had in mind, huh?
Lois: Let's see. So far I've been given a glimpse of ritual crop worship, been treated as your girlfriend, and insulted your parents. No, I couldn't have planned this.

Oh, that was fantastic!

I'm going to be chuckling to myself for the rest of the day... let's hope that doesn't lead to too many strange looks laugh

Thank you!

Helga

LOL!!! Very funny.

Some of my favourite quotes:

Quote
“Clark, I need to...” Lois opened the door and stared.

“Uh, Lois, this isn’t what it looks like.”

P.S.: Just read Kathy's comment.
I *knew* I had read it before!!

P.P.S.: I like the fact that Clark is such a guy *AND* he's not gay.
Too bad he doesn't really exist... frown

LOVED it!!
esp. the "not gay, alien" line. What a great, non-angsty revelation!

Can't wait to read anything else you write!

But you left so much out. What was Lois's reaction to Superman? Were is the Nfic section before the line..."that was Super" <bg> And can Dan ever sit down again after the leather man came a calling? Did the towel fall to shreds? So many questions to answer yet. At least give us an epilogue! Very cute though. laura
