So do you think I should write more of these? A full on Heroes crossover? Maybe move the timeline up so that Season one happens in 2006?

OMG!!! Very very interesting possibilities... yes, YES please write a crossover. And yeah LnC season 1 (2006) is definitely appropriate so that not much is known about Superman.. or is there a Superman at all?   
If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

How about placing it in a AU where Clark has not yet created Superman?
Shift the location of the paper factory to Kansas and move the New York action to Metropolis.

No, no, it's got to be a post 4th-season Clark, married and with a kid or two... who won't be quite as unusual as Clark had supposed :p What does the Company know about the Kents? Are they a continuation of B39, or a totally separate group? What will Clark do if he hears rumors of people with strange abilities? Especially people who are his age, but not from Krypton. It could explain the genetic compatibility thing, if regular humans are starting to come up with all these strange abilities.

Nice. I really liked this little vignette. I haven't seen Heroes, but my work collegue has a big mouth and has given me the play-by-play, so I can enjoy your story. As to the timeline ... You could continue on with your idea - Maybe move the timeline up so that Season one happens in 2006? or with Pam's idea - No, no, it's got to be a post 4th-season Clark, married and with a kid or two or you could get radical and place Heroes in the timeline of Clark's descendents. Who knows how the human/kryptonian gene mix would affect people in the future?  BJ

Okay, I've been wanting to read these, but I haven't had time - I finally broke down though. Nice, Shayne. Of course, I don't quite follow the show close enough to know exactly who all the characters are and what they can do - except for the cheerleader, that is. Maybe a little note at the beginning would be helpful in that aspect?
