Oh, how wonderful. I love Henderson. And then to have Clark back him up on his opinon of the couches is to funny. "Scratch and Dent Indeed" What a great ending.

Jen! That was so cute and funny! I've had a horrible day at work today and I needed a good laugh. It's always fun to see Clark take a jab or two at Lois (like the Godzilla thing or the dumpster thing - priceless).

Cute! I can see both Clark and Lois behaving like this. Funny, too! And Bill Henderson in full sarcasm mode is always a treat. Thanks for sharing!

If there was an activity more rewarding than saving the world from destruction, it was pushing the buttons of Lois Lane.
There aren't nearly enough fics with Clark pushing her buttons, if you ask me. laugh

Loved it, Jen. Thanks for the laughs!

The whole vignette was great - but the last line topped it all! clap clap

Well, I've told you already what I thought of it - but lemme just repeat some of it... the whole non-partner and the door that isn't there just totally cracked me up! Brilliant. laugh

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Six locks on the door clearly didn’t buy the security it used to.
LOL. That is just one of the many funny lines of the fic. I was totally cracking up.

Alcyone's favorite line was mine, too.

And, while I don't get that much of a kick out of seeing Clark push Lois's buttons... well... even I thought it was really funny! Everything but the couches, indeed. It was a lot of fun to see Bill Henderson gingerly sit down on a couch only to immediately get up again, almost as it if bit him! Wonder who those thieves are? Wonder why they took all of Lois's stuff, well, except the couches?

Looking forward to more, Jen!

Wow, that's a bunch, guys! Yeah, I think the locks on the door was one of my favorite lines to come up with. <g> Anyway, I appreciate everyone who's taken the time to read or comment!

Cute, Jen. Those couches were awful, weren't they? What did the note say? That the couches were uncomfortable?

Interesting, yes, what *did* the note say? Perhaps it'll come out of evidence lock-up in a few weeks...

Funny story, Jen! Glad you posted it.

That was awesome. I loved the way he poked fun at her. I was giggling madly all the way through it.

And the twist at the end with Henderson trying the couches out for size. That was priceless.

That was *hysterical*! rotflol

It's really hard to write good comedy, but you have that ability in spades! This is the first story of yours that I have read, but it will *definitely* not be the last!

Lynn
