Can you speak anything else?” His eyes were cast down, and he didn’t look like he was going to answer her. “Clark,” she said with exasperation, “how many languages do you speak?” I wish we could have seen a conversation like this on the show! Quote “The steak in front of the dog…was I the dog in that scenario?” Quote Her breath caught in her chest at their sudden proximity, and she wondered if he knew what effect he was having on her. Oh, he knows. (That's right, Clark, get your revenge on her! ) Quote he snagged her softly around the waist and murmured, “It was still a good plan. And it doesn’t have to be a total loss.” Quote He kissed her, standing there in the dark, behind the fallen wall of an ancient civilization It's impossible to top this level of romance! Carnahan's statue looks really disturbing... And the mystery is heading towards its climax! I'm curious to see how it all gets resolved. Stories are written by the victors. (Hmm, come to think of it, that's not the exact quote...)

PinkLilyCat Blogger P Joined: Aug 2026 Posts: 4	I am hooked!!!!! It is like Clue meets the Mummy Superman style. I am trying to figure out who I think did it. Is it to early to ask for a sequel? This new partnership thing they have going...I love it. I am really enjoying the depth you are giving them without slowing things down. You can see them having a life beyond the pages here. L&C is my favorite take on Superman and Clark and Lois together. You also do something I find rare in writings be it fanfic or non fanfic - even your minor characters have depth, they live outside the pages as well. Thank you for sharing.

Morgana A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

Its so kind of you to say that they have a life beyond the pages here. That's such a incredible goal to hit, to feel like the characters will just keep going. And I worked really hard on those new characters, so I'm so happy that they seem alive and specific. L&C is absolutely my favorite Superman re-telling, too. There's something so comforting about this show! And a sequel! Let me catch my breath after writing this marathon! I have an idea for it, but I don't exactly have a plot... or a villain. I'll add it to my little list, but it's far back in the line at this point. Thank you for asking, though - that's such a wonderful compliment! Bakasi, thank you! He has over 300 languages and it barely got talked about in the show! I'm barely fluent in ONE, lol. To me, fluency in multiple languages is SUCH a superpower. And it seemed like such a perfect place for it to come up. Morgana, absolutely in the endgame! The die has already been cast for most of their fates at this point.
