(Got an extra few minutes before I need to clock in, so here's something short and sweet:)

Jaxon glared menacingly as he lifted Lois in one hand and the new interloper in the other. Just then, a voice called from the doorway:

"Not so fast, Jaxon!"

Superman. Of course. An evil grin twisted across Jaxon's mouth as he tossed the other two aside. "Superman? I should have known. You can *die* in here, Fly Boy!" It would be just like his simulations: he would reduce Superman to a mewling, simpering shadow of a former hero and claim Lois's affections for himself! He advanced forward, already relishing the impending victory, only for his virtual kingdom to suddenly turn black. "What?!"

The words of Doom stretched out across the virtual horizon, causing Jaxon to drop to his knees with a despondent wail:

I figured, you usually don’t post too long a fix so I can squeeze this in. Opened it and found out, yep I can squeeze it in, all right.

This sentence showcases wonderfully the depth of understanding JaxXxon has for the female psyche!

Did his cleaning lady need to plug-in the vacuum cleaner?

He should have gone for the CD-ROM version instead of the floppy disk.

This is delightful in a way that brought me straight back to the nostalgia of never being able to finish Oregon Trail because we didn't have the second disk.

I can imagine him literally lifting her in one hand, as if pulling her up by her wrist and OW.

I really love when the villains have cute little nicknames for Supes.
