Perry's moment also was well done as it sets up some potential moment on the long distance relationship front... However they will, I suspect, have to get past Jonathan's reluctance first as I am getting the idea that he wants to keep Clark in Smallville to keep him protected. Next few chapters should begin to flesh out the next step... Create all the happiness you are able to create. Remove all the misery you are able to remove. Jeremy Bentham

Secret not-boyfriend is now outed in the newsroom. Jimmy approves. Perry approves, too, although we (and they) already knew that. Even Cat approves (of the relationship, not so much the brush-off Clark gave her). I'm stunned. Lois let him edit her copy. No, really, he edited her copy! Without being asked! And she smiled! Incredible in the classic sense! And - this is actually the topper - she took his suggestion on the story. Completely unprecedented. We'll have to watch for a rain of frogs in the next chapter. Don't tell me you're not putting these two through severe emotional pain. Seeing the goodbye at the taxi was wrenching. And the cabbie could take Clark to the airport via Michigan and Clark wouldn't know it. Next chapter, please. Make the earth spin faster so Monday can come sooner. It left me imagining, well, something close to what you wrote for this chapter! The whole story is beautifully written. My only concern is that it's only 10 more chapters! They are so adorable together, can’t wait for Lois to get the third degree from Cat because just her image of who mystery guy was hilarious and far far from the truth. Dreamy Lois is a fun Lois to be around. It’s always fun to see her completely lost for words around Clark.
