Hey FoLCs goofy

Anyway, here's the MLTV.

::::::>>>> Only Human <<<<::::::

The movie started unnoticed. Although she had waited for it the whole week, her mind was too crowded by the skeletons in his closet. How could he lie to her this way? How could he be so low?

A human mistake, she thought at first. Only human, she assured herself. But now, knowing the truth made her ache from the inside. How foolish she was.

Ridiculously foolish.

Fighting the tears, she eventually gave up and surrendered to the sobs and gasps she wasn’t able to produce before. Anger engulfed her being, but somehow hitting the pillow was not what she wanted to be doing at the moment.

An idiot – she was an idiot - A complete idiot - One hundred percent of an idiot. How couldn’t she foresee what was so obvious? How couldn’t she see what was just in front of her face?!

He said he loved her. He said he was different. He said he wouldn’t keep any secrets from her and that they should say everything to one another.

He lied to her.

She trusted him and now what? Appearances truly can be deceiving.

Now, she would have to wake up the next day and face the cruel truth: She would never be the same.

She thought he was a gentleman and the last romantic of the whole world.

A real super guy.

Unfolding his picture, the one she secretly kept on her wallet for a long time now, she saw her hero, her everything. All she wanted to be happy.

In a sudden urge, she tore the picture into pieces. Again, and again, and again, until there were only tiny fragments of it. Tired of her misery, she crawled out of bed and went to the bathroom.

Lois turned on the faucet and let the cold water run through her fingers. Splashing some of the liquid on her weary face, she saw her image reflected in the mirror. Her stuffy nose and red eyes denounced her disappointment.

She repeated to herself what she had already decided in her mind; Looking in the mirror and sounding very determined, she said aloud. ‘This is it. From this day on, I’ll never trust another human being again. Thank you very much, Claude.’

The End. laugh
