Just catching up.

Very interesting story, nicely shady and mysterious. Why do I feel there is a super-natural component to this mind control...

"Okay," said Xander, when Lois and Clark had explained the situation at his motel. "I get what you're saying. I can see my parents staying on if they won that sort of money, but there's no way they wouldn't be gambling."

"Would they have told the rest of your family?" asked Lois

"No way. Half of my relatives would be there the next day, looking for a handout."

There may be one other. And in reply to mr_d8a's question, yes, there is a supernatural element to the problem.

I'm looking forward to seeing this continue. I'm a sucker for crossovers, and I've read several of your CSI/Buffy crossovers over on Twisting the Hellmouth. Welcome to the boards!

I'm really interested in this story. I usually don't read crossovers, but this one has captured my attention. Lois has had some crazy covers in the past...I'm almost afraid of what she might pull in Vegas!

You can find my stories as Groobie on the nfic archives and Susan Young on the gfic archives. In other words, you know me as Groobie. wink

I am just loving how you are putting this together. It's very intriguing and it makes sense that the mysteriousness of Sunnydale would intrigue Lois and make her stick to Xander like glue (also loved the Batman references wink ) Anyway, keep it up!

Hi,

Great part. clap

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.
