Let me just say, first off, that I *LOVE* this story! It's so agonizing, heart wrenching, painful... I could go on! As with most of my trailers, the muse started nagging me late one night to do this, then she kept on nagging until it was finished three nights later. I'd like to thank Rachel for her help and encouragement, demanding I finish this even when I was frustrated.  And I'd of course like to thank Sorcha, the Eviller One, without whom, this trailer wouldn't be possible! The table of contents for Made to be Broken can be found here. Enjoy!! What a great trailer! I haven't read Sara's story yet, but I have seen snippets of it on IRC. You managed to capture Lois's helplessness quite well. Now I need to make time to read the story. I like your use of Divx as well, since it keeps the file size way down.

WHOA!!!Very menacing! Lois's sense of panic grows as the trailer proceeds - in the beginning she's clearly unsure, but as we move on she becomes more and more afraid and desperate. From the seven parts I've read so far, this is a perfect representation of Sara's story - the mood, the events, everything. Really, really good, Sara - this is your best yet!  Wendy

Oh... Oh... Oh...  ] Wow!! I never in a million years expected this... you've managed to bind all these scenes together fantastically well. Some in particular - like that clip of Lois looking through the drawer in Madame Ex, and of Superman's grave [<bg>] - I would never ever have thought of, and they work so well. Also [and correct me if I'm wrong], the beginning uses music from My Best Friend's Wedding, right? I adore that movie and that score... and it's so apt. Wow. Wow. And then when Iris kicks in... the way those clips flashed up onto the screen. *AMAZING*. It's funny. I've been working on this story since August '03, and I don't think I've ever once actually pictured the characters... as *characters*. I've never pictured the story being acted out on screen  And this just brings such a clarity to it... You're fantastic, Sara!! I adore this - *thank you*!!!  Sorcha [the stunned and very grateful one] PS - another thank you to everybody who replied so far and said they liked the story...

I think this trailer was the most difficult and complicated for me so far... so thank you so much, Wendy, for saying this is my best yet. Sara... SOO, so glad you liked this!! I could have sworn I'd not only watched this trailer, but commented on it too. Oh well. Oh, boy, Sara, this is terrific! Well done! Going to check out the story now...sounds great. Just hope it's not a long one, so I have time to fit it in! <G> LabRat

Oh Sara, this was awesome!! Perfect trailer for this beautiful, agonizing, heartbreaking story! The scenes are great and the music fits so well, love "Iris!" You are so creative and talented to be able to take those scenes and make them fit so perfectly to the story! Thanks so much for sharing!
