Well that was a cute little turn of events for that original episode. I always wondered why Lois never went back to look at the ripped up card. This version makes more sense. I'd love to know what Clark's reaction was. Laura

Oh no! Lois knows the secret before she's supposed to, that means she has to die...

No, wait, that's Smallville isn't it.

Nevermind.

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Welcome back, Carol! And great story. I loved the fact that one of the first things she thought of after she figured out The Secret was dinner flights. I'm trying to imagine the look on Clark's face, too.. he might've turned pale. heh laugh

Very nice, Carol. I think a sequel would be interesting too. One of the nicer revelations I've read.
Welcome back and write more!

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

Thank you so much to everyone for the warm reception smile . It's nice to be back! I have thought of all of you often since I've been away!

Thanks to the suggestions listed here, there is a companion piece in the works - tentatively titled 'Alternate Reality' - look for it soon on a message board near you!

Thanks again, so much!!! I'm really glad you guys enjoyed it!
