I just saw the first quarter of Carlton vs. Hawthorne. Hubby was fascinated, but we're still confused. Very enlightening, though.

I am just back from the game. If you saw the Hawthorn cheer squad - the brown and gold bunch behind the goal Carlton kicked to in the first quarter - I was in there.

You're welcome,Corrina. I was hunting for the televising of cycling's "The Tour of California" and saw AFL on the top of the "Today on TV" in the sports section of the LA Times and saw it. So we turned it on. Hubby has tried to understand the rules for some time.
I wondered if you were in the cheer squad. I noticed the brown and gold pom-poms behind the goal. The Hawks uniforms looked good with the hawk picture on it.
I'll keep an eye out for more games.
BTW, I originally posted this topic in "Fanfic Related" because you are writing a story about footy, but the admins moved it here. I guess they didn't realize it related to a WIP.
