Things are looking bad for Lois, even if Superman bursts in to rescue her, she won't believe him now. Luthor? maybe. But Luthor would never have a person tortured. He's such a sweet and charming fellow. Tank (who figures that Lois will be having nightmares for some time to come, providing she gets out of this alive)
