I loved Carol's idea and tried one of my own.

It took a while to get this to work, but I got it!

If these are too big, then I'll try something else...

Hopefully tomorrow...

Glad to be of help.

And speaking of help...apparently, there are at least 10 that are really REALLY hard. evil

James, hmmm, I guess there was really no help in stating that... wink

ok, if you really need help, just post a message here. If you want to confirm an answer, PM me.

James - would you consider posting the answers in another thread for those who want to check their answers etc? Then you don't have to answer us all individually wink .

Just a thought smile .

That works too smile .

Carol [who is still working on finishing that blasted paper and hasn't had a chance to work on this yet but has been lamenting the lack of new fic posted [as in less than 10 new parts of anything a day] because she can't use it to distract herself even more... because fic at least is still on the computer but the crossword will be on REAL PAPER!]

Really cool, James. I'm in awe of someone who has the patience to work this kind of thing out.

Now my only problem is I don't have access to a printer. grumble I'm going to have to work something out, so that I can do this. It looks like fun.

Hehehe Labby - there's free programs online where you just stick in the clues and answers[still work of course] and it spits out the puzzle for you.

I wonder if you could stick it in a program with text boxes and just put a text box in for each letter or something. That would be a lot of work though... Coolgirl posted one with some answers in it last time but then took it down later so she may have an idea but IIRC she's not online much these days [but I could be wrong on that].

Carol [who is getting closer to completing the freaking paper and hopes to do this sometime this afternoon]
