Plenty of scope out there for crossover fanfic - one of the joys of it is having characters run into their evil / different "twins." Hence Mr. Gadget being a nuisance in a West Wing crossover, Scott Evil being mistaken for a werewolf in Buffy crossovers, and so forth.
