Here are the local times for the Kerth Deadlines and 6 p.m. New York EDT on ceremony:

Deadline for nominations:
http://www.worldtimezone.com/time/i...10182&calldate=03-14-2010&hournr

Deadline for Voting:
http://www.worldtimezone.com/time/i...10182&calldate=04-11-2010&hournr

These two say 12:00 a.m., but when you use the pulldown menu on the site, it says "midnight".

Ceremony (using 6 p.m. EDT)

Let's all have a great time!
regards
Artemis

Um, just a little comment on the time zone maps.

It seems that the map is using DST for some countries that might not be in it in April.

Just remember that, wherever you are, if you know that DST is not active anymore, take out the extra hour the map is adding. For example: Brazil is not on DST in April (ends in February), so the Kerth ceremony will be at 7:00 PM local time Sao Paulo, not 8 as the map shows. smile

Wow, that's interesting, because the site is supposed to take care of that fact. But yeah, I would think all the southern hemisphere would be out of DST by April. So Sydney and Auckland shouldn't be either. I'd say go to the site and put in your city and the time shown and double check.

Here's Sydney and it says it is in DST:

It says Rio de Janerio is DST too. But you know what your local time is or isn't.
Here's their map on DST and yes, Sydney goes out of DST on 4 April. So the map is wrong. Thanks for the heads up, Malu.

And interesting enough, now the time zone map you posted seems to be OK, with no "DST" in the southern hemisphere...

Probably because now DST has kicked in in the U.S. and it's over in the southern hemisphere countries.
