When reading through this I got the impression that Clark came back and had listened in on Lois' tirade with Lex near the end there, yet his actions as Lex left with Lois slung over his shoulder seeemed to indicate that he didn't. I can't see him letting Lois go with Lex without some sort of confrontation if he'd heard Lois' declaration of disgust for Luthor and his practices. Also he didn't seem shocked or surprized to see Lois being carted off like a sack of grain. I think a little bit of tweaking to clarify those actions would be nice. Or, I'm goofy and totally misinterpeted your post. Tank (who wonders if Lois will wake up in a Las Vegas hotel room next to...)

I got the impression that Clark overheard everything that Lois said to Lex. If that's correct, why does he let Lex walk out carrying Lois? Surely he realizes that Lois would never make that choice in these circumstances. Hopefully someone will continue this. I want to know what happens next. Tricia

I'm assuming Clark heard everything Lois and Lex said in their argument, yet Clark did nothing when Lex carried her out.
