And poor Clark for his sacrifice

of his ego to allow himself to have a relationship with Lois.
Lois thinks she has figured out the truth, but she isn't sure and that's why she doesn't press him for the truth... because we all can she she wants it to be true, and would be heartbroken if she's wrong. You just want to give these guys one big hug for their insecurities and tell them everything will be okay.
Why do I picture Clark waiting until Lois is asleep and then breaking the lock, or the wall behind one of the crates, which he'll happen to find in the morning?
