I loved this chapter!!! (feels like I say that every time... but it's true). I really really liked their interaction, how Lois is trying very hard to put herself in his shoes and give him what he needs. She's not asking the hundred questions she'd probably like to; instead, she's figuring out what he's ready for. And Clark... he just seems to understand that that is exactly what she's doing.
Clark was standing against the back wall. He was wearing the clothes she had given him.
He looked ... wow!
Lois walked over to him and smiled. "You look good," she said.
If this is what new shorts and a t-shirt will do to you, Lois, wait till you see him beardless... and with a very nice haircut (by the way, when are we going to get a clean shaved CK?
