Very nice conclusion.
The double time-line / time loop confused me for a moment. I was thinking that for some reason, after the events where Lois helped him escape as Superman, he knew she loved him. Of course, there was no basis for that. Then I feared you were going to re-establish the status-quo. Of course, with her knowledge of him being Superman, there was really no going back. (I was afraid that memory was going to fade back out.)
Fortunately, Lois came through here:
Finally I decide to tell you and then we can decide together if there is any chance for a *us*.
And she did!
