Yay, Lex is dead! I know Lois wanted him to be publicly humiliated and end up in jail, but that'd be a dangerous process, and she'd have to go through some sort of divorce proceedings, which might have taken roughly forever. This may be less satisfying, but it's vastly simpler.

Good riddance to Trask, too.

Things still not be returning to normal -- will there be a Daily Planet without Perry? But they should be much more peaceful.
